Presentation
The II Future Internet Experimental Research Workshop (WPEIF) aims at creating a forum to exchange information, knowledge and experiences on advanced networks and services research and experimentation, in particular concerned with the future Internet, and at promoting research and experimentation in this area in the national network and distributed systems community.
WPEIF is one of the workshops of the Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (SBRC), which be held in Campo Grande, MS, Brazil, from May 30th to June 3rd.
WPEIF 2011 program will consist of invited informational lectures to be presented by members of the national and international communities, of technical lectures selected in the call for papers, and of panel discussions on future Internet research and experimentation initiatives and opportunities in the country and around the globe.
Topics of Interest
Authors are encouraged to submit their (original) proposal, including those at early stages, dealing with one of the following (non-exhaustive list of) topics of interest:
- Virtualization
- Programability
- Novel Internet architectures
- Novel mobility architectures
- Novel routing solutions
- Novel security solutions
- Autonomic networks
- Cognitive networks
- Software-defined networks
Author Guidelines
Paper submission will be exclusively online through the JEMS conferencing system. Authors should access https://submissoes.sbc.org.br/home.cgi?c=1312. Papers may be written in Portuguese or English, and must be in PDF format. Each paper shoud have between 2 and 4 pages, including abstract, figures, tables, references, and appendix. Papers must follow the SBC format, available at http://www.sbc.org.br/index.php?option=com_jdownloads&Itemid=195&task=viewcategory&catid=32 Papers will be reviewed with the standard reviewing procedure, and the highest ranked ones will be selected for presentation and to appear in WPEIF proceedings. To appear in the proceedings, at least one of the authors of the selected paper should register in both SBRC and WPEIF and present the paper.
